So a bunch of folks [most of them good friends] from work got awards for the splendid work that they had done. And true to my nature of jumping in at the opportunity at writing, I wrote them a small poem [?] And here it is:

With sprightly steps and a will so strong,
The warriors all then strode along,
With the tides so high and the seas so deep,
You knew - you had your word to keep,
You toiled , you strove, you marched as told,
And asked when one, you gave tenfold,
Now the peak is yours and the glory too,
Godspeed to you, Godspeed to you !!

Yeah Yeah I know - inane stuff :)
